Singapore is a beautiful island which used to be a port in initial years of 20th century. The city is one of my best vacation destination when I plan outside India. In last summers, there was an instant thought to make a 2 day trip to Singapore.

I was sorted for the stay as I had friends & relatives there. I had plans for two days stay in a home environment. Now, the major task was Visa & to book my ticket as earliest to get right scheduled flights at a decent price in such short notice. I applied my visa application on the spot with few formalities that did cost me $45. I got my visa approval within three days. Then, I opted for an economy class ticket being it a small International Flights distant direct flight of 5 hours. I did Emirates Airlines Emirates web check-in from Emirates online web check-in portal to save time.

Next day my race for packing started. Wait!! I love Singapore for shopping hence, I did pack minimum stuff which included just my personal care kit & comfortable shoes because you just love walking around in green belts & scenic view of this man made heaven.

I boarded my flight at 6pm & arrived at Changi airport near 11pm. Though, I have been there a few times before it was easy for me to get my metro card & reach my destination. Singapore transport is one among best transport in the world. I purchased my travel card which is valid for metro & road transport both.

One can easily get transport to reach different tourist places in Singapore. You won’t mind walking by yourself. I boarded my metro to my destination & it took me hardly 10 minutes. I took my bus outside of metro station which is also easily available. I punched my card at bus entrance & grabbed my seat with my tiny back-pack. There are private taxi’s available at just a call. Afte reaching my friend’s house I did rest for half & left for a beach walk in nearby. It was as soothing as any mind spa.

My three days were occupied with sight-seeing, shopping, photo-shoots & yes peace of brain to another level. You can also add a city tour to your trip that I have already taken during my last visit. City tours of open bus service include river safari also. Singapore is a dream city of colours, cleanliness, lights, fashion & many more.

The famous statue of “Merlion” is located near marina bay, the corporate hub of Singapore. One of the largest malls of Asia Marina Square which is connected to CityLink mall via walkway is also here. In Singapore people don’t bother what’s burning around so, you are free to show your style buzz without any hesitation.

Here, I am still just wondering I have not written anything about Singapore yet. So, I will post every experience of mine from my Singapore journeys. For a short line,I would say one must visit this country before anything in the world. The systematic, the clean, the affordable & the beautiful. For Indians, it’s nearest overseas honeymoon spot also.
