I have been boasting about my entire Himachal trip with the big bang trip already since I came back from the trip. I had so much to share here. However, I have distributed those seven days in 7 posts. This post will talk all about Kasol.

I have not been to Kasol before & this was my first visit to this beautiful valley of nature. Kasol is a small village at Parvati river bank located 42 km away from Kullu. Kasol is the hub of Israelis. You will find all foreigners roaming around in the village.

A small hill station near Delhi

October to June are the best months to visit Kasol. Although Kasol experiences good weather throughout the year, the ideal time to explore the wilderness of the place is from March to May. At this time of the year, the weather is pleasant and the temperature varies from 15 – 22 degrees Celsius. However, if you are fond of strolling in chilly nights and cool evening winds, winters i.e. from October to February is the right season for you. The temperature during the season usually varies from 3 to 10 degrees Celsius.

The most beautiful Beach in the world

TBBT took us to the villages near Kasol view through trekking parallel with Parvati River. The scenic beauty you experience sitting on the bank of the river is extremely tranquil. The Untroubled sound of flowing water without any modernization.

What to Wear in kasol

While trekking to our destination in Chojh, we found these beautiful women(on my right) wearing vintage traditional jewelry. They were working on something trippy if you know what I mean.

I had a big luggage bag with me full of winter clothes & the weather was amazingly pleasant there. I could freely roam around on treks & in the village with my ripped jeans, yellow cotton top & my best white dockside shoes. I also added the headband to complete my tripper look.

Tips for What to wear in Kasol:

  1. No Fancy Dresses:

Some places are meant to be soulfully beautiful & Kasol is the one. You need to keep your fancy wardrobe safe in your city life. I mean yes, you can carry some funk clothes which makes you stylish & comfy at the same time.

2. Wear Colourful Clothes:

Yes, colors are my life even though I fall for black & white every time I shop. For traveling, I prefer wearing colorful outfits to get attractive photos(just for photos yeah!) otherwise your clothing gets merged with the surroundings. Keep some loose shorts, pajamas & t-shirts.

3. Shoes for Kasol:

Since Kasol is known for beautiful treks & Riverside, you just can not risk wearing your glittery uncomfortable shoes. One of my friends was wearing crocks & slipped off the way many times. Avoid crocks & wear good fit shoes.

4. A side bag:

It is mandatory to carry a side bag in Kasol. You might need you both hands when there is a need for something to keep your wallet, glares & mobile phone safely attached to you. you can not keep asking others for a favor. Be prepared for your troubles.

5. A warm sheet:

I say this in my every article because I am very cold person & feel chilled most of the times wherever I go. Hence, I suggest this to everyone for keeping a warm sheet to cover yourself in case of untimely cold.
